Many times we have people around us that have moved from people we just met on a certain day to being friends and sometimes, even more than friends to being family.

 

Unconsciously, sometimes we take these people for granted and do not make out time to thank them for sticking around for this long.

 

Right here and now, I would encourage each one of us to communicate with those people we call friends and take out time to tell them thank you and how much we love them!

 

This is a poem I wrote for a friend a while back and I thought it would be nice to share 🙂

 

Friends don’t come by easily

Even when they do,

They most times disappear with the wind

Thanks for being there.

 

Friends don’t see you falling,

And let you fall

They help you up and make you stand

Thanks for being there.

 

Friends may hurt you,

But you still know they are there

Because there is an understanding that flows

Thanks for being there.

 

Friends may not actually speak

But by their actions,

You know you are loved

Thanks for being there.

 

Friends may not look like they are there

That is just because there is something happening

This is only for a while

Still thanks for being there.

 

Friend this is just to say

I LOVE YOU

No matter what is happening now

Thanks for being there.
