Impossible is Possible! – E41 min read
Victoria Keshiro had no incline what the new Base would be like when she packed up to join her husband three years ago. It was a life she had committed to; it was no strange thing when one married a man that was bound to serve his country. She was just a bit skeptical about moving to the North after many years in the West. She worried about the rumours of trouble that had been going on for years. She worried about the adjustment period for the children. At the same time, she was excited that the family was going to live once again like one not fearing that Gbemiro was injured at one war zone or the other. Before the relocation, she did what she knew best to do; she committed the new phase of their lives to God and told herself nothing good was going to come out of the worries.
About a year after the move, she noticed her husband needed extra help at work because his new role required more attention than anticipated. As the days carried on, the weight of the extra load began to tell on him, he could no longer carry on their nightly conversations like they used to without falling asleep right in the middle of it. Whenever she brought up the issue, his response was always the same, “I have not found the person for the job”.
She was most excited when he came home barely six months later to say he thought he had found his personal assistant. She wanted details but she had to wait until he had done a background check on the person and as always her husband wanted to get to know the candidate personally.
