Impossible is Possible! – E5
Gbemiro watched Kolapo closely for about three months to ensure he was indeed the man for the job. He also prayed about it because he did not want to get involved with any recruit that could put his sensitive position at risk. He did the usual background checks and tested him through the months by putting him in one difficult situation or the other and as he expected Kolapo always excelled after each test.
He found Kolapo to be mature, quick to learn and best of all willing to be corrected. The character that stood out most for him was the boy’s humility; he could have chosen the path his parents wanted with all the money but he chose to start afresh without his parents’ money. Very impressive indeed! It was not long before the boy became to him like the son he never had; very dutiful and dedicated. He was not the only one that felt like that but also his wife for Kolapo became a regular visitor in his home. The Keshiro’s friends even referred to Kolapo as their “adopted son”. His daughters also saw him as a big brother and sought him out at any opportunity they had.
The more time Kolapo spent with the Keshiro’s, the better his understanding of who God was. He did not immediately start attending services in a church but instead preferred to bring questions to the man he now saw as a ‘father’.
